DANSOX Inaugural Summer School
Led by Alastair Macaulay, former Chief Dance Critic of The New York Times
At DANSOX's Inaugural Summer School, Alastair Macaulay will give guest lectures on Petipa, Balanchine and Cunningham. Leading dance scholars will give seminars on dance history and theory. There will be unique lecture demonstrations on technical and choreographic practice led by Susie Crow and Jennifer Jackson, formerly of the Royal Ballet, as well as Richard Alston on the influence of Cunnigham on his work, and a unique showing of Lynne Wake's film on Béjart and Queen.
All welcome but please book tickets: £15 per day or £30 for all three days. Lunch and refreshments are provided.
